I discovered a historical fact that video game piracy was rampant in the 1980s as technology advanced. Meanwhile, individuals copied the original content and produced unauthorized video games on floppy discs and DVDs for illegal financial gain, thus affecting the revenues of game developers ‘ efforts in a negative Use the same procedures as duplicate game files on a USB drive to do it

Additionally, the consequences of piracy and video game addiction extend beyond just financial consequences. Consumers risk compromising the security of the computer because encrypted files can be loaded with malicious software that can cause a data breach video game streams must rarely contain other sensitive information needed to improve the gaming experience, besides reducing the overall quality of gameplay, Users are exposed to various computer viruses when installing pirated video games because they do not take security measures and it’s necessarily protected against computer viruses, leaving systems vulnerable to cyber threats and malware attacks.

Companies across numerous industries, mainly inside the realm of video games, are vigorously striving to increase and enforce sophisticated anti-piracy software program answers to fight the pervasive issue of pirated games. In tandem with technological innovations, legislators are formulating stringent rules and laws aimed at curbing the unauthorized distribution and usage of pirated software programs and video games. The overarching goal of industry leaders and policymakers alike is to instill a feeling of duty and deterrence among people involved in piracy activities. Consequently, severe penalties and repercussions loom over folks who pick to interact in illicit practices related to software programs and video game piracy, underscoring the seriousness with which such infringements are dealt with in the contemporary landscape of digital rights safety. The resolute stance taken with the aid of the enterprise and criminal authorities underscores the paramount importance of safeguarding intellectual belongings rights and fostering a culture of appreciation for creators’ paintings. By reinforcing the enforcement mechanisms in opposition to piracy, stakeholders are together shaping an environment in which innovation and creativity can thrive without the shadow of unauthorized duplication and distribution. The ongoing efforts to combat piracy underscore an essential commitment to upholding the integrity of the digital environment and ensuring that creators and innovators are duly diagnosed and rewarded for his or her contributions.

I would like to talk about the topic I chose video game piracy. Video game piracy is a huge global issue and the creators and software companies that create video games lose all the credits and gain financial losses since people download the original video game file and sell it for their financial gain without the authorization of the video game creator as they sacrificed their time, materials, maps and locations used to create video games.

According to Quan Gao (Feb 1, 2019),  “Video game piracy is the unauthorized use of copyrighted audiovisual works, often leading to financial gain for the pirating party and substantial losses for the copyright owner. This issue has become a significant concern since the rise of commercialized video gaming, with major companies reporting substantial financial losses.”

Video game piracy can be defined as the illegal access to video game content to profit from the sale of unauthorized copies, ultimately causing financial loss greater occurs on intellectual property rights not only because the illegal dissemination of information damages the integrity and profitability of the work but also damages the work of individuals and groups with that creative activity their livelihoods are threatened with the major companies reporting substantial financial losses caused by the video game piracy committed by the individuals who are selling it without the authorization of the game creators.

Where did pirated video games begin?

In the light of Damiano Gerli (November 22, 2022) “In the 1980s, governments’ stances on software piracy were quite different; there was no common European approach to the issue. Since the early 1980s, France and the United Kingdom have been vocally opposed all forms of unauthorized copying of floppies and games. However, in countries such as Italy (perhaps the worst example, since a particular legislation was not enacted until 1993), Spain, and Portugal, the same strategy took some time to become a reality.”

In the 80s, the government’s stance on software piracy was very different as there was no common approach to the issue related to software piracy in the European continent. Since the early 1980s, France and the United Kingdom have been vocally opposed to all forms of unauthorized copying of floppies and games as they don’t want the software companies to have financial loss and distrust of the original software companies selling their authentic products to the people.

However, countries such as Italy as it’s the worst examples when it comes to software piracy as the legislation wasn’t enacted until 1993. In Spain and Portugal, the same strategy took some time to become a reality as they didn’t have any knowledge about software piracy.

They had some internal problems in their country that they had to deal with such as the aftermath of the dictatorship, lack of technology, proper legislation on laws and rules regarding software piracy, and recovering their country’s GDP and financial issues. That’s the reason why pirated video games began in the 1980s as the rise of technology and software companies were not aware of their software being pirated and suffered heavy financial loss.

Why do many individuals sell pirated video games?

Based on Mary McMahon (February 28, 2024) “Game piracy can be motivated by profit, saving money, or unawareness. Some individuals purchase legitimate game versions for copying and selling, while others sell hard drives or discs with numerous games. Some copy and distribute games for friends to save money or are unaware, as they may not realize their actions are considered piracy. For instance, if a game allows five copies installed, passing them to four friends would contribute to game piracy by handing out legitimate versions.”

Individuals who commit video game piracy are motivated by making a profit and saving money without being unaware that they violated the law of copyrights.

People who purchase the original version of the video game just copy and sell it for their financial gain. In contrast, other individuals who sell pirated video games have several methods such as selling hard drives, CDs, or USB files with many games inside.

Some copy and distribute games for friends to save money or are unaware that they may not realize their actions are considered piracy since they do not have the authority to sell without the permission of the video game developers.

For example, if a game allows five copies installed, passing them to four friends would contribute to game piracy by handing out legitimate versions since they have no authority of the video game developer to sell the original copies and they have violated the copyrights act.

    Consequences of Video Game Piracy

According to Manish Jindal (January 16, 2024) “Reduced Budget for Future Projects:

The financial impact of piracy can result in smaller budgets for future game development. This can lead to shorter, less polished plays, or even cause smaller studios to shut down.

    Harm to Industry Employment:

The economic strain caused by piracy can lead to job losses in the gaming industry. Lower revenue means fewer resources for hiring and sustaining a skilled workforce.”

When people commit piracy in video games, it impacts the video game developers financially as they are affected by the video game piracy and it leads them to have financial losses as people shift from purchasing authentic video games to pirated video games. Furthermore, video game piracy results in smaller budgets for future game development as it leads them to be less creative and motivated to create a new video game.  This leads to shorter, less polished plays, or even causes smaller studios to shut down caused by video game piracy and people who benefit from selling unauthorized copies of the video games.

Not only does it impact the smaller budgets for future game development and reduce the budget of future projects but also it harms the Gaming industry employment which affects the employers hiring employees a lot. The economic strain caused by piracy can lead to job losses in the gaming industry which means if the company has lower revenue of their company then it will have fewer resources to hire employees and sustain a skilled workforce.

    Implementations on video game piracy

There are some measures and implementations regarding video game piracy as this is a big issue globally and to tackle pirated video games.

In the light of Jon Samsel  (APRIL 17, 2023) “Copyright notices and warnings: These can be included on products or in digital content to remind users of their legal obligations regarding copyrighted material.

Legal action: Civil and criminal actions against individuals or organizations engaged in piracy, as well as efforts to lobby for stronger anti-piracy laws and regulations.

Technical measures: Region coding on DVDs or software activation codes, which can make it more difficult for pirates to make unauthorized copies.”

When people purchase any video game or any technological software must have copyright notices and warnings which can be included in any video game or any technological software or in digital content to remind users of their legal obligations regarding copyrighted material to remind all people not to pirate the video game or any software.

If people commit piracy by distributing copies of video games without the authorization of the video game developer will face criminal charges for violating anti-piracy laws. Even if any individuals, companies, or organizations engage in or distribute any pirated materials will face criminal charges as they have violated anti-piracy law.

Another aspect to consider is that having the region coding on DVDs or software activation codes makes it more difficult for pirates to make unauthorized copies since people who purchase the DVDs or software that has Region coding will have a difficult time decoding the region code in the DVD’s or Software that they distribute. If they crack the region code, they will face criminal charges on anti-pirated law as it will alert the regional technical authorities which can contact the police and cooperate with the police technological team to arrest the person who cracked the code of region code in DVDs or software.

    Conclusion

The implementation of video game piracy should be taken seriously and have strong enforcement. Another thing I would like to agree with is that having regional codes on DVDs or software is an effective method as people who crack the region code will be caught by the police since they have violated the anti-piracy law.

  • BCM 313: Future of Work Reflection blog

     Muhammad Waqas

Hello, my name is Muhammad Waqas. Today I will talk about my interview with a former police officer and tell you about my reflection after conducting the interview.

In the light of Kendra Cherry (August 09, 2022) “Furthermore, ENFJs are too critical of themselves, holding themselves accountable for their failings while ignoring their successes. People with this personality type must consequently set aside time in their everyday lives to care for themselves.

ENFJ, or Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging, is a personality type that is highly critical of themselves and often blames themselves for failures. They often neglect their successes and fail to appreciate their accomplishments. ENFJ individuals must prioritize self-care as they interact with many people and focus on making others happy. They care deeply about their friends and loved ones but must also set aside time for themselves. ENFJs are social, helpful, and outgoing, giving positive energy to others. If they don’t prioritize self-care, they may feel exhausted mentally, physically, and emotionally.

My goal is to become a Hong Kong Police officer since I love to help people, serve the community, and protect people who are in harm’s way. That’s why I joined the Junior Police Call Leader Corps to gain experience in police training and know more about the experience of the police staff in the Junior Police Call Leader Corps.

I interviewed a former police officer from the Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College, he is also a vice director of the Junior Police Call Leader Corps in which he teaches us foot drill and musketeers and shares police knowledge while many students attend Junior Police Call Leader Corps in Other Learning Experience every Friday in secondary school. His name is Mr. Ng Chi Kuen.

The questions I asked while interviewing Mr. Ng that are relevant to his former police officer duties such as, Where was his first posting, what his roles and responsibilities were after freshly graduating from the police college, getting injured on duty, working under pressure, difficulties and changes faced being a police officer, working in extreme weather conditions and experience gained after retirement from the police force.

Mr. Ng first joined the police force in 1976 and he graduated from the police college in 1977, his first post was in Tai Po mainly patrolling all around Tai Po and doing Police related duties inside the Tai Po police station.

During the interview, I asked Mr. Ng about working in extreme weather conditions in Hong Kong such as typhoons, rainstorms, or other natural disasters occurring in Hong Kong. He said that generally, all police officers have to work in extreme weather conditions as they have to do their duties and patrol the district where they are posted even if there is typhoon signal No. 8-12, Red and Black Rainstorms, or other natural disasters such as earthquake, floodings, and any other virus and diseases affecting lots of people, they still have to carry duties.

This made me realize that even there’s extreme weather conditions, and natural disaster occurs in Hong Kong, Police Officers still have to go to their workplace even if it’s typhoon signal No. 8-12, Red and Black Rainstorms, or other natural disasters such as earthquake, floodings, and any other virus and diseases affecting lots of people, they still have to carry duties to serve their communities and save people who are in danger in these situations.

Furthermore, if I join the Hong Kong Police Force, I have to face changes in the place where I will work such as adjusting to the work environment, and receiving additional training once people go to the Police Tactical Unit, Emergency Unit, Marine Division and Police Dog Unit. Not only that, I will face changes in my lifestyle such as eating at restaurants, drinking bottled water, and washing my clothes in a laundry shop as I will be very busy working as a police officer.

In addition, I will face difficulties such as working overtime, staff-related issues, dealing with short-tempered people, personal matters, and personal health issues once I work as a police officer.

In conclusion, working as a police officer is a great thing do to but the procedures for recruitment of police officer’s academics and qualifications have changed significantly. Also, their equipment has been changed.

Lastly, the police and other law enforcement in Hong Kong have also added the national security law test alongside with basic law test which they must pass these test. Moreover, they made some changes including the height, weight, and eyesight tests being removed from the police requirements, and instead of writing Chinese and English essays, they had to pass the Chinese and English language Multiple choice questions to get inside the police force training.

In the light of Sustained Kitchen ( February 12, 2020 ) “Many waste-free organizations deceive consumers into purchasing ineffective goods, leading to increased greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution. With a million firms competing for the environmentally friendly ball, the increasing popularity of these low-cost zero-waste items could lead to more waste.”

The challenges faced by the Waqas125 Food Recycle program are mainly attributed to waste-free companies that are selling ineffective products, which misleads consumers and ultimately leads to increased greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution. The program’s expansion will encounter complexities due to waste-free establishments that mislead customers by making false claims about their products, resulting in the waste of valuable resources and materials. Despite the surge in demand for eco-friendly alternatives, numerous companies are opting to offer low-cost or zero-waste items as a strategy to compete in a crowded market effectively. Therefore, it is imperative to tackle dishonest practices to ensure that customers clearly understand the effectiveness of products before making a purchase. The need to address these challenges is crucial for the overall success of the program and for significantly reducing the environmental impact caused by various deceptive practices.

Ironically, the intense competition in the market might paradoxically lead to an increase in waste generation as it encourages the establishment of more outlets that contribute to resource squandering due to a rise in indiscriminate food recycling programs being set up. Consequently, it becomes even more essential to address and rectify these deceptive practices if we are to foster sustainability and work towards reversing the alarming trends of food wastage through initiatives like the one led by Waqas125.

Building a sustainable society calls for empowering consumers with a good enough understanding of the genuine effectiveness of merchandise within the midst of competing tactics employed through businesses imparting comparable alternatives. This client empowerment is vital to making knowledgeable picks that sell sustainability and drive effective change in preventing problems related to wastage and environmental degradation.

According to Ross Guberman ( July 19, 2021) “ Anaerobic digestion, is the process by which microbes break down biomass in an oxygen-free environment. It generates biogas that is high in methane, which may later be utilized as a fuel source for electricity generation and other purposes.”

After successfully collecting all the food waste from the Waqas125 food recycling system, our next step is to distribute it to a specialized organization of anaerobic digestion processes. The concept of anaerobic digestion involves the conversion of organic waste to biomass under oxygen-free conditions, which represents a sustainable way of dealing with food residues Through this alternative process, serviceable biogas is produced price, with more methane. Methane, a clean, colorless, and odorless gas, is a large component of natural gas, thus providing renewable energy. Biogas from anaerobic digestion can be used for a variety of useful applications, such as electricity generation, power supply in the cooking industry, and automotive fueling of stationary energy vehicles regular choice takes precedence over conventional fossil fuels. It also contributes to the development of energy solutions, in line with our commitment to encourage environmentally responsible practices and create a more sustainable future.

    Muhammad Waqas

If you look at content creators, they make lots of money than an average employee working inside an office, delivery services, or even a law enforcement officer.

According to Eva Gutierrez  (JULY 14, 2022 )  “It is estimated that the influencer marketing sector would be worth $16.4 billion by 2022. This is a significant change from the $1.7 billion worldwide market size it achieved in 2016.

The creative economy has developed over the last half-decade, from beautiful images of latte art for friends and family to billion-dollar enterprises. Content creation has reached a new level, indicating a change in marketing.”

This is the rise of content creators. As you can see the revenue of worldwide marketing was $1.7 billion worldwide market size it achieved in 2016 but comparing it to the influencer marketing sector it would be worth around $16.4 billion by 2022. Influencer marketing might take over other kinds of businesses as many content creators are active, rigorously producing their content on social media, promoting a product, or raising awareness of social issues on social media.

Many of us have seen the creative economy develop over the last half-decade since the rise of technology and the internet development from beautiful images of latte art for friends and family to billion-dollar enterprises as it generates lots of money compared to a regular employee receiving the same salary every year and not being satisfied with the jobs that they don’t want to do.

But there’s a disadvantage to being a content creator.

Based on Nina Willment (16 July 2022) “Online exposure also exposes content creators to serious online abuse, both in terms of how they seem and what they publish (or do not post), in addition to negative impressions of influence as an occupation. Online abuse has the potential to cause mental and physical health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, and eating disorders.

Content creators are at a big risk of online exposure since they are exposed to serious online abuse such as cyberbullying, hate speech, and death threats sent to the content creators in both ways such as how they seem and what they publish (or do not post) in social media which affects the content creators a lot since they have to deal with online abuse and cope with it. Not only that, it leaves a negative impression on the content creator who’s facing online abuse.

Content creators who face online abuse are affected mentally, and physically vulnerable to depression, stress, and anxiety. In addition, they will suffer from body dysmorphia and eating disorders as they face a lot of online abuse which will affect their mental and physical health

  • BCM 325: Future Network Digital Artifact

    Muhammad Waqas

I want to talk about the topic that I have been addressing on my digital artifact pitch many times and the topic that I’m going to talk about is what is the future of Content Creators.

I have chosen this topic because many people who are content creators are active in social media and produce their content by using social media such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.  But I would like to find out what holds the future of content creators since people looking at content creators in social media tend to ask themselves this question as the rise of Artificial intelligence technology is ongoing as Artificial Intelligence will take over people’s jobs from the labor jobs to content creator jobs.

According to Kiana Mason (Aug 11, 2022), “Content creation encapsulates copywriting, design, production, and other media that provide value and connect you to your target audience.”

Social media content creators express themselves through copywriting, blog design, and production, providing value and connecting to target audiences while simultaneously enhancing their content’s appeal.

Social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and Steam have enabled content creators to share their creations, such as videos, blogs, and posts, with a large audience.

These platforms also allow content creators to entertain and engage with their audience, allowing them to reach a wider audience and showcase their work effectively.

Based on Rebecca Jennings ( Feb 22, 2022,) “Bloomberg called the $20 billion creator industry “pandemic-proof” due to the explosion of people monetizing their social media followings over the past two years, some of whom were laid off from their jobs, some of whom were part of the Great Resignation, some of whom had time on their hands and screens to stare at.”

It all started with the COVID-19 global pandemic since many people cannot go to their original work such as office work, waiters, etc. due to the government’s implementation of lockdowns and people’s safety fight against the COVID-19 Virus. So, Bloomberg calls the $20 Billion creator industry “Pandemic-proof” since many people have smartphones and can use social media to produce their content online. Many people have made money by creating their content on social media over the past 2 years.

That’s why people who became content creators left their jobs as they were earning money more than their previous jobs that they were working in. Some became part of the Great Resignation caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic as they were not satisfied with their work environment and many people could not come to their workplace due to lockdowns while others had time to stare at their smartphones. That’s how many people became content creators as they only needed a smartphone, laptop, camera, social media, and the internet to work as content creators.

In the light of  Eva Guiterrez (JULY 14, 2022)“In today’s marketing landscape, creators and influencers are commonplace. We don’t blink an eye at influencer marketing efforts with $1 million or more budgets or free trips across the world in exchange for brand exposure. These jobs were originally fresh, but as they developed, they made way for a new surge of employment. People are increasingly creating their user-generated content. For companies, UGC producers are paid to generate UGC-like material, often known as false UGC.”

Content creators and influencers are everywhere in today’s marketing landscape as many companies want to promote their products by using people who are content creators or influencers sector.  But they don’t need to put a burden on the influencer marketing efforts with $ 1 million or more budgets or give them free trips across the world in exchange for brand exposure. These jobs were freshly developing, and as time progressed new employment started to surge hugely. Instead putting a huge burden on the influencer marketing efforts with $ 1 million or more budgets or give them free trips across the world in exchange for brand exposure.

Many people are increasingly creating user-generated content. Manny companies, hire UGC producers and they are paid to generate similar UGC-like material, often known as false UGC to promote the product they want to endorse publicly.

Before content creation existed, many people were working their boring jobs and they were not satisfied with their work environment and the job itself.

According to Sana Afreen (September 15, 2022 )     “Many people, particularly those who had been unemployed for a long period, now have work because of content production. Even those who initially wanted to use their abilities for enjoyment have discovered that they may make a decent income by doing so. As a result, the content-production business is quickly expanding.”

Many people are grateful to be content creators and influencers. Before becoming a content creator and influencers many people were unemployed for long periods due to COVID-19 and unsatisfied with the jobs that they were working before. Those people who have the hobby of enjoying being a content creator discovered that they can use their ability to make a decent income by producing more of their content on social media. As a result, the content-production business is quickly expanding since content production has become a lot more common as many people can earn more money and they can work anytime and anywhere.

Being a content creator is great as you can work anytime, anywhere without signing a job contract, have financial freedom without worrying about when the salary is going to come, and you can meet new people once you are a content creator. However, there are some disadvantages that we all have to know even people who want to become a content creator or they need to know the content creator’s job as it takes a lot of hard work, editing, keeping up with a trend with social network and keeping the followers to watch your contents in the social network.

Let’s talk about the benefits of being a content creator.

According to Tony Yiu  (Feb 10, 2022) “  Passion. Many people don’t get satisfaction out of their jobs. Working for yourself and doing something that you’re interested in has significant value even if it’s non-monetary.”

People who become content creators produce their content as their hobby or do it in their leisure time will love their job and it gets easier for them since they have been doing it before COVID-19 and before the rise of content creators. Even people who are content creators and consider it as their hobby will have a great significant value if they don’t focus more on making money just to entertain lots of people or promote all kinds of products.

Based on Pat Walls (January 18th, 2023) “With starting a social media content creator, you can express your opinions and knowledge to your audience, which allows you to build your reputation and identity.”

Once a person starts being a social media content creator, he/she can express their own opinion, knowledge, and experience about anything to their audience so that the audience can see that they are not alone and they can relate to the experience once a content creator expresses his/her knowledge and experience. When you are alone and you have no friends, you look up to a content creator and listen to their opinions so that you can know what to do in life which allows the content creator to build their reputation and identity in social media.

Moving on to the disadvantage of being content creators.

In the light of  Henry Liu  (June 7, 2022)   “Becoming a content producer may be free, but it is a gamble. It’s hard work, and there’s no assurance of success. Creating content on websites such as YouTube requires a lot of recognition and chance. Content creators must constantly update their content to match the algorithm.”

If anyone wants to be a content creator it’s free since you don’t have to pay any money to access any social media to create your content but it’s a big risk since you don’t know how your content can get the majority of people’s attention with no guarantee of success. It’s hard work since you have to manage all aspects such as editing, producing, and directing each of your content published on social media.

Furthermore, creating content on websites such as YouTube requires a lot of recognition and chance since many people who watch YouTube don’t know who you are, what kind of content are you publishing on social media, and why you want to become a content creator.

To conclude this topic, being a content creator is great because you can enjoy entertaining people, having financial freedom and you can work anytime and anywhere.

I’ll discuss my perspective on the previously discussed issue of video game piracy, as well as the responses I got on my selected topic.

Unfortunately, the comments that I haven’t shared are frustrating, especially since people are busy with other things. They seem to dismiss my concerns as too broad, attributing their frequency in today’s digital landscape to the rise of video game piracy. Furthermore, there is a pervasive sense that no effective measures have been taken to address this growing issue.

As I went deeper into my research, I found interesting evidence about the history and impact of video game piracy. Certain titles appear to be outright banned in some areas, mainly because of their perceived negative impact on individuals’ psychological well-being, behavior, and erosion of their cultural heritage. This complex interaction requires a nuanced approach to how we recognize and address the challenges posed by the unregulated distribution and use of copyrighted material in the gaming industry role.

Furthermore, in addition to the aforementioned preventive measures, video game developers need to invest in strong anti-piracy systems. By including such features in their development plans, developers can protect their creations from piracy and unauthorized distribution. This not only protects their intellectual property but also ensures that they do not lose money due to a pirated version of the game. Given the huge investment of time, money, and resources by developers, a secure anti-piracy system is of the utmost importance. From designing voice actors and actors to meticulous sound, graphics, and gameplay, the effort required in creating a successful video game is immense Using anti-piracy features isn’t hard work protecting not only the investment in game development but the integrity of the industry as a whole Safety. By prioritizing anti-piracy strategies, developers can continue to develop new anti-piracy strategies and create high-quality games without piracy threats compromising their efforts.

I have tried my very best to be creative and give more information regarding my topic, which I am working on in the history of game piracy. Sadly, the audience and my classmates are not giving me comments on my work, as I have worked so hard to show them the effects of video game piracy since it has many negative consequences, such as stealing personal information, being vulnerable to computer viruses, and poor performance in FPS while playing the pirated video games on the PC, laptop, or game console and other portable devices such as smartphones, tablet tabs, or portable video game consoles like the PSP, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Switch.

Jerome, Although the subject matter was quite complex, it lacked safety measures for the special case of autonomous vehicles. This omission can cause confusion and fear in individuals who are considering adopting this cutting-edge technology. It is therefore important to emphasize the paramount importance of individual safety and security in any discussion of the proliferation of autonomous vehicles Every conceivable safety risk must be thoroughly investigated and reduced before this cutting-edge technology is widely incorporated. Neglecting to implement necessary safety measures and comprehensive testing procedures can lead to catastrophic system failures in autonomous vehicles, serious accidents, and death if tragic losses have increased dramatically Scarcity can hinder audience understanding and engagement with the topic, emphasizing the critical importance of an effective presentation of the project to ensure that it is more widely understood and retained by audiences.

I shared class movies on Twitter, discussing engagement, comments, and the number of people who visited each week on Thursday. I aimed to provide a glimpse of the movies and gather feedback from the audience.

According to X (Twitter), Engagement on Twitter means how many people use the tweet on hashtags, links, replies, and likes since some people liked my post and followed me on Twitter to see more updates about the movies that they didn’t see.

After watching Ghost in the Shell, I admired Jason Bourne, a spy character from the Bourne Trilogy. I emphasized the importance of using superhuman power for good without endangering innocent people, and I cited the quote from Spider-man, “With great power comes great responsibility.” This reflection highlights the importance of using superhuman power responsibly.

Morpheus encourages Neo (Thomas Anderson) to fight against Agent Smith, believing he can defeat him, as previous opponents have been killed and unsuccessful in their fights.

    • Frank and Robot (2012)

    Link: https://x.com/waqas7a21/status/1760504299186999510?s=20

Frank and the Robot is a sci-fi movie that illustrates the story of an old, divorced man who lives alone in a suburban area and suffers from some memory problems.

Sadly, I didn’t receive any comments on the Frank and the Robot post since people are not interested in liking or even giving comments on the Twitter post.

In tweet post 2, I talked about the reason why Frank’s son bought him a robot since his home was very messy and he was alone by himself at home.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any comments about my tweet post nor did I expand any links or details to my post. I was hoping my followers would find some information or interaction, but my post doesn’t seem to have gone unnoticed. It can be frustrating when you try to create things and it doesn’t get your audience to respond. I will have to rethink my approach and do more interesting things to get the attention of my fans in the future.

Frank and the Robot post 3

Looking at post 3 of my tweet about the issue of Frank and the Robot, I have explained that the robot in the movie is a caretaker robot who can do chores and cook healthy food for Frank. The caretaker robot also helps Frank to wake up and do exercise which the caretaker robot advises him to do.

Sadly, I didn’t receive any comments regarding this post 3 about what the caretaker robot is doing for Frank. But there was engagement going on which is better than the previous posts about Frank and The Robot.

    Ready Player One

    Link: https://x.com/waqas7a21/status/1763627932151685452?s=20

    Ready Player One Post 2

    Link: https://x.com/waqas7a21/status/1763646549777920374?s=20

While I was watching Ready Player One, I was shocked by the fact that Gundam made its comeback in the Virtual World of the movie to fight against Nolan and the Mecha Godzilla. Gundam vs Godzilla should be a live-action movie in the coming future.

Sadly, I didn’t receive any comments or likes on the posts shared and talked about the movie-ready player one. But the impression was great since I mentioned Gundam making its comeback and the post 2 has some engagements.

    Ready player one post 3

    Link: https://x.com/waqas7a21/status/1763662526393594013?s=20

I talked about the classic combat move that Ryu and Ken do while they are fighting which is called Hadouken from Street Fighter 2 Video Game. Parzival used this move to fight Nolan in the virtual world which makes people not forget the Street Fighter video game franchise and its expansions.

Unfortunately,  I didn’t receive any comments regarding post 3 about Ready Player One since people are not interested in the movie and they believe that the movie is a bit scary since they are afraid of what is shown in the movie might happen in real life. Moreover, post 3 of the ready player one gives some impression but the engagement and the details expand have no response.

    Final Digital Artefact

    Muhammad Waqas

I would like to talk about the final digital artifact I have been working on, as the topic that I chose is called the history of video gaming piracy. While I was working and finding pieces of evidence about my topic, which is the history of video gaming, I found out that some countries were developing in the gaming industry and they had limited amounts of resources for the video game to be released in the developing countries. That’s why people buy the pirated video games, which have serious consequences such as stealing people’s information, hacking into the game console server, and delaying the process of loading and playing the video game.

Also, some video games even got banned due to the content of the video game itself, as people can do reckless things for which they can face serious consequences, and due to cultural background violations, the government bans video games that can negatively impact people’s mental well-being.

In addition, there are some preventive measures to be taken while developing the video game so that the pirated version won’t be published. Video game developers should develop their games into an anti-pirated system so that they won’t be pirated versions of their games and don’t receive any financial losses, as video game developers sacrifice a lot of their time, money, arrangements, casting voice actors, actresses, venues, and systems such as sound, designs, and effects that are required to develop their video games.

Finally, I will list all the evidence that I found for my chosen topic, and I will use it in my final digital artefact.
