Final Digital Artefact

Muhammad Waqas

I would like to talk about the final digital artifact I have been working on, as the topic that I chose is called the history of video gaming piracy. While I was working and finding pieces of evidence about my topic, which is the history of video gaming, I found out that some countries were developing in the gaming industry and they had limited amounts of resources for the video game to be released in the developing countries. That’s why people buy the pirated video games, which have serious consequences such as stealing people’s information, hacking into the game console server, and delaying the process of loading and playing the video game.

Also, some video games even got banned due to the content of the video game itself, as people can do reckless things for which they can face serious consequences, and due to cultural background violations, the government bans video games that can negatively impact people’s mental well-being.

In addition, there are some preventive measures to be taken while developing the video game so that the pirated version won’t be published. Video game developers should develop their games into an anti-pirated system so that they won’t be pirated versions of their games and don’t receive any financial losses, as video game developers sacrifice a lot of their time, money, arrangements, casting voice actors, actresses, venues, and systems such as sound, designs, and effects that are required to develop their video games.

Finally, I will list all the evidence that I found for my chosen topic, and I will use it in my final digital artefact.
